We ended with an interesting philosophical discussion on the evolution of money as well as potential social effects with recent wealth consolidation trends.
Mike Dudas is Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Founder of Button which just raised $12M in Jan 2015. Previously he was Head of Mobile BD at Venmo/Braintree which was acquired by PayPal for $800 million in 2013. Before that he ran business development at Google Wallet. We talked with Mike about his path into payments, specifically what it was like at Google Wallet, Venmo, PayPal and now how he and his team are poised to change the world of mobile commerce as we know it.
