In this episode, Mike Townsend speaks to Alejandro Gutierrez, who is the CEO of Defactor. Alejandro has more than 20 years of experience in the supply chain management space and lately has been working in the Trade Tech space and Supply chain finance space.

In 2019, Alejandro joined Consolfreight as co-founder, and in 2020, Consolfreight became one of the pioneers of the digitization and collateralization of Real-World Assets using De-Fi as the main source of funding for factoring and trade finance services. Within a year Alejandro became pivotal to close important partnerships with big hitters in the industry like Centrifuge and Maker and achieved $7.5M+ in transactions funded. Currently, he is the Co-founder and Operations Lead of the Defactor a project focused on bridging the gap between DeFi liquidity and real-world asset originators.
